Physiotherapist
Lawrence graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and has a strong interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, strength and conditioning, and helping people return to the activities that are important to them.
Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, Lawrence worked for five years as a remedial massage therapist, giving him a strong foundation in hands-on treatment and an appreciation for how manual therapy can complement exercise-based rehabilitation. His approach combines evidence-based physiotherapy, education and progressive exercise to help patients build confidence in movement and achieve lasting improvements in function.
Lawrence has worked with many sports, including serving as the physiotherapist for Cottesloe Rugby, which further developed his interest in sporting injuries, rehabilitation and return to performance.
Outside the clinic, family is a big part of Lawrence’s life. He is a proud father of four boys who all play soccer, so much of his spare time is spent on the sidelines supporting them at training and games. He also enjoys keeping active himself through strength training, walking and getting outdoors.
Having previously worked as a carpenter, Lawrence understands the physical demands of work and everyday life. He takes a practical and collaborative approach to treatment, working with each patient to develop a realistic rehabilitation plan that fits their goals, lifestyle and individual needs.
