Chronic Pain Management

Chronic pain is defined as pain that lasts over three months, or longer than the expected healing time for a particular injury. Chronic pain can present in a range of different ways, and often has a number of different contributing factors. Our physios will work with you to understand exactly which factors are driving your pain, and then develop a plan to address these factors. Exercise therapy has been proven to be very effective in managing chronic pain, and our experiences physiotherapists will work with you to develop an exercise program tailored to you and your interests. 

 

There are a wide range of factors that may contribute to chronic or persistent pain which is why our therapists will work with you to determine what is contributing to your pain and the best way to manage these factors. We will help you make sense of your pain and work together to develop pain management strategies focused on handing you control over your pain.
