ACL Rehabilitation

The ACL, or anterior cruciate ligament, is an important structure that provides stability to the knee joint, particularly during cutting or change of direction. ACL injuries most commonly occur due to a rapid change or direction or landing from a jump with poor landing strategies. Rehabilitation from an ACL injury is a lengthy process that can be physically and emotionally challenging at times, which is why it is important to complete rehab under the guidance of a physiotherapist with experience in ACL rehab.
