DVA Patients

The Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA) helps cover physiotherapy treatment for eligible DVA members. If you serve or have served in the Australian Defence force, or are the spouse, widow or child of an eligible DVA member then you may be eligible for physiotherapy treatment covered by the DVA. If you hold a DVA gold card then all physiotherapy treatment will be covered, while members who hold a DVA white card may be able to receive physiotherapy for a service related condition. In both cases an initial referral is required from your GP, specialist or discharging doctor if you have been referred straight from hospital.
