DVA Patients

The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) provides coverage for physiotherapy treatment for eligible members. If you currently serve or have served in the Australian Defence Force, or if you are the spouse, widow, or child of an eligible DVA member, you may be entitled to physiotherapy services covered by the DVA.

If you hold a DVA Gold Card, all physiotherapy treatments will be fully covered. Members with a DVA White Card may be eligible for physiotherapy for service-related conditions. In both cases, an initial referral from your GP, specialist, or discharging doctor (if you were referred directly from the hospital) is required.
