Sports Injuries

Playing sport can be incredibly beneficial to both our physical and mental wellbeing, however it doesn’t come without the risk of injury. The movement patterns and demanding nature of sport puts load on the body, and if this load exceeds your body’s capacity you could potentially suffer from injury to the joints, ligaments, muscles, tendons or nerves. If these injuries are not rehabbed properly you may be susceptible to further injury and long term problems. If you have suffered a sporting injury, it is crucial to do proper rehab to get you back to your best.

How Can We Help?

You will undergo a thorough assessment to determine exactly what injury has occurred and what weaknesses or factors may have contributed to the injury. Our therapists will then work with you to develop a personalised, sports specific rehab plan in order to help you recover from your injury and return to sport as quickly as possible. We will also address any contributing factors and develop a long term strength based program to reduce the risk of re-injury. We treat athletes of all levels from all sports, including but not limited to:
